Executive Consultant
McGhee is a small highly-regarded international consulting organization that provides productivity coaching and training to Executives and their teams along with strategic consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies. Executive Consultants develop and manage McGhee’s relationships in Enterprise Accounts and are located throughout the United States, as well as in key international markets.
Job Description Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Executive Consultants are part of a growing team selling and delivering quality services across a variety of industries. Ideal candidates should have experience in services sales, training delivery and/or coaching for improved performance. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills are essential. They must possess the ability to consult with customers at all levels of an organization, identify requirements and present solutions, and develop long term relationships that generate client loyalty and exceed sales goals. The Executive Consultant must have a high-energy, charismatic personality, be willing to live what they teach, and enjoy working for a small company with a big outlook.
Qualifications:
- Sales skills in new business development and account management.
- Passion about the products and services being offered, and the benefits they produce in client organizations.

Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiating skills.
- Smart, flexible, diligent and professional — willing to work hard but have fun doing it.

Ability to learn and add value quickly
- Maintain a sense of urgency and goal orientation.

Technical knowledge and ability background using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 for Windows.

Some ability to travel.
- Target locations are major metro areas in the Midwest, Northeastern U.S., Southeastern U.S., California, Brazil, Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Experience:
In addition to a Bachelors Degree, candidates will have:
- 5+ years of account management experience, with emphasis in software and/or services sales or new business development experience.
- Training and/or coaching background a plus.
- Proven record of accomplishment with consistent quota attainment or overachievement.
- Experience closing and managing deals greater than $100,000 preferred.
- Ability and interest to work independently.

McGhee Productivity is a virtual company that offers a high-degree of flexibility and opportunity for growth and contribution to its employees. Training sessions and company meetings are typically held in Denver, CO.
We are hiring consultants for an eight-month training program to begin in December of 2008. The income potential for this role is in the six-figures. However, the training period and learning curve to launch a successful practice takes at least 12 months. New consultants must have adequate financial resources to help sustain them during this period and/or have a second source of income.
